VIRGINIA'S 3RD SENATE DISTRICT
Each of Virginia's forty state senators are citizen-legislators and represent approximately 200,000 citizens. State senators serve four-year terms and receive an annual salary of approximately $18,000. Virginia’s Third Senatorial District is comprised of the following localities:

• Gloucester County
• King and Queen County
• King William County
• New Kent County
Portions of:
• The City of Hampton
• The City of Suffolk
• Isle of Wight County
• James City County
• Surry County
• York County
